“Kennaird Stradlin Concepts worked with us on the refurbishment of our new premises of Shelflife store at 167 Longmarket Street Cape Town in July 2014. Because of the high level and exclusivity of fashion items Shelflife carries, it was vital that the surrounding fixtures and fittings, and the overall look and feel of the store complemented these products from worldwide leaders such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and New Balance. Kennaird worked through the initial process of layout, designs and concepts using our ideas as well as amazing suggestions from previous jobs and experience. Because of the extremely tight deadline of just over one month Kennaird and his team worked day and night and even over weekends to achieve the final goal. Although ideas evolved during this period they rolled with the punches and the end result was incredible and better than I could possibly have imagined. I was most impressed by the usage of existing materials in the space, which saved us a lot of money, and by the up to date budget reviews — as we added on we were fully aware what things would cost, so there were no surprise extra costs at the end of the process. We couldn’t have hoped for any more in a builder, store designer and space conceptualist… He even cancelled a week away with his lady to complete the job!”
